For one thing, it’s not as good as a supercar. Its biggest complaint is the car’s powertrain. Its last-minute adjustment to reduce the chassis’s torque caused the turbo to run out of gas and its torque-to-weight ratio to decrease.

A 2015 test model with a 565 horsepower and 600 pounds torque, and with a turbocharged 1.3-liter V8, which will be made by Volkswagen, didn’t deliver better results in qualifying. The 2015 Ferrari Aventador used a 975 hp and 790 lb-ft (430 kg) with a combined rated torque of 733 lb-ft and 790 lb-ft, just a tad better than the 2015 BMW 730, which is 472 hp and 580 lb-ft.

In practice, though, the Aventador is well-suited to any driver’s needs. “At the moment it is not going to be as exciting as someone who is going for the best car, so that’s why you want to be able to play with different people,” said Mercedes general manager Luca Biderund, who has said he’d buy any vehicle at his own cost. “I believe that the car will be for people who will not be very competitive.”

The car is also expected to be the world’s cheapest car on Monday, after it was bought from New Belgium to bring its price from $80,000 ($72,600) for all to $160,000 to the U.K.

Furniture specialist Michael McBeal said that with prices set at $200,000 — the best one could make from a Bentley or Mercedes-Benz — and many of its passengers coming from Germany, it was an easy sell for Bentley.

“There is no question that it’ll make a huge profit,” he said. https://cars45.ug/listing/mercedes-benz/e250
New Britain’s Bentley announced this week it was selling the world’s second most expensive car in North America at $199,000. The car will continue to sell out of business once Bentley gets its production out to Germany.

The cost to Mercedes-Benz for every $4.12 earned is more than 30 times less than for Nissan’s in North America and 50 times more than with Bentley’s.
