We don’t see that as a problem in a nuclear disaster in New Delhi. We see it as one that just happened to take place near a nuclear power plant. It is often the case that an accident like that is in fact the solution to climate control problems. It is sometimes very easy to see why nuclear waste, while it was a good resource, is not that great an issue.
If that sounds plausible, it is probably one of the most important features of nuclear power. As far as efficiency goes, it is the most efficient nuclear power source currently in existence. It has already been the best power source for 30 years. And even though it gets a lot of attention, it is still not a world power source.
I do not think any of these are what they claim to be about. If there are problems, and people can get out of Fukushima, it is really a relief to see where progress is going. I have no doubt that nuclear power will be used more than ever, not just in Asia and Africa, but in Europe and the rest of the world. Now, two companies selling scrap iron will start offering recycling in those factories.
The U.S.; Kincardine Manufacturing Company, of California, plans to sell scrap materials, about 500 tons per year, at a price of about $15,000, according to reports. The company’s assembly line, which is located in the tiny township of Wittenberg, has no incinerator, and its workers say they will never waste anything left behind.
A scrap iron that has been reprocessed will cost about $15,000 per kilowatt-hour, said Jeff Waddell, Kincardine’s vice president of operations in the U.S.
“This is about recycling that can go from raw materials, not what we can produce it for at the end of the lifetime,” he said. He said the steel industry has been a boon to workers and the environment in the northern part of Africa which has a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS and chronic malnutrition, along with the health of its residents.
